TITLE

Connecting Reality and Code in Object-Oriented Programming by Visualizing Objects at Runtime

ABSTRACT

Firstly, I would like to present the topic of which my thesis will focus on. Hereafter the conceptual framework will briefly be presented to show how reality relates to code in object-oriented programming. This is followed by introducing the philosophy behind a prototype that visualizes objects at runtime. Hereafter a demo of the prototype will be performed while carefully explaining its functionality and overall purpose. Finally, initial thoughts on how to conduct an evaluation of the tool are presented with the purpose of starting a discussion on the different approaches that should be considered.

BIO

My name is Jakob and I am currently doing my research project at third semester of Computer Science and soon to conduct my thesis, which will be the topic of my presentation.
