ABSTRACT: Ongoing work on testing methods for robot manipulation systems, explored through a proof-of-concept setup with a robot arm and Danfoss parts. The focus is on how to test systems that rely on visual alignment and task execution more systematically, how to generate relevant validation scenarios, and how to represent uncertainty in a way that is useful for testing. Conformal prediction, image mutation, and scene variation in 3D environments are being considered as possible parts of a more principled testing workflow.
